Hooray! Today, I’ve finally started my life as an artist.
Lately, I’ve been creating my own version of “Ipchuncheop” (立春帖), a traditional Korean ornament. It is used to celebrate the arrival of spring on the first day of spring, with wishes for peace in the home and a good harvest. At a specific time on that day, people write phrases like “立春大吉 建陽多慶” in black ink on white paper and place them on their doors or gateposts as a way to ward off bad luck.
Since it’s the first day, I’ll keep it short for today!
